As soon as you enter the lush  green campus, you witness the large  building of Smt.  Manekba Secondary  and Higher Secondary school. Agriculture is the prominent source of economic activity in rural India.  Therefore, to train the rural youth in Agriculture and Cow-husbandry, Smt.  Manekba Agricultural Vidyalaya, as it  was originally known, was established in the year 1959. However, realizing the  need of the modern era, the institution  has also developed Secondary and Higher Secondary school to broaden  the scope of education for the children.  In order to promote scientific approach in Agriculture, the institution has made arrangements for modern labs for practical experiments, a rich library and a huge assembly hall which also serves the purpose of an in-house theatre for cultural activities. The institution  organizes various programmes as it also  celebrates national days to promote patriotism among the students.
