In view of the requirements  of the modern times, weaving as a subject was replaced with TLM –  Computer as part of the PTC syllabus in 1990s. This new subject really helped the students to be more productive and useful. The acronym TLM is a short form of  ‘Teaching Learning Materials’. The rationale for introducing this  subject was to prepare the trainees to prepare computer based TLMs  and to receive the training of  ‘Head, Heart and Hand’ as envisaged in Basic education in the real sense. After initial years, some innovations in computer lab were  introduced so that the trainees get  theoretical as well as practical  knowledge of the subject.

However, we would like to  provide intensive computer training to all the children as it is done at Sheth C N Vidyavihar Ahmedabad. For this purpose we would need a centralized computer lab with fifty computers.
